Deliverance

HAPPY BIRTHDAY dA!

Uhh....My second contest entry on dA...Hope this time would be much better...

The painting denote the deliverance of Native Americans from their painful and ardent past, the subjugation and inquisition (represented by fire and water).
The Spirit horse, the animal which developed and helped the Indian nation, the animal who really can be named man's best friend, helps the dying young indian to rise, to revive.

The piece is painted traditionally with tempera colours on paper, and after that, a bit retouched in photoshop, to show the skribbles more clearly! It look me about 2 days.

If you don't see the skribbles, here they are: The circles are clearly on the horse's face and croup, another skribble is part of the horse's wing and hair, another one is on the horse's abdomen and continues with the croup, and the last one is on the indian's right(our right) arm, and continues with his hair.
